17A-Elevator Pitch 2

I was unable to do the first pitch so no feedback was given. This will be my first elevator pitch so hopefully I receive some positive outlooks so I can improve this over time.

  1. Hey Garrett! Great pitch! I loved that at the very end you asked for the "audiences" business card. I know that building ramps for the elderly is already a product out there, but I think that it would be great to improve the materials of it all, as you've suggested. Next time, try to go more into depth about why YOUR materials make it so much different and better compared to all of the other companies out there. Overall, great work!

  2. Hey Garrett, I thought that you did a really good job with this elevator pitch, especially for it being your first time giving one. Why did you not do a first one? Did you forget or simply choose to to participate? either way, you killed it with this one and I think it really shows your potential as an entrepreneur.

  3. Hey Garrett,
I am very impressed with your pitch. You dressed very professionally and even addressed the audience directly. I think you need to elaborate a little about what distinguishes you from your competitors. However, you killed it. Great work.

  4. Hello,
I thought this was a good pitch. I was entertained from the beginning to the end. I never felt any confusion during the pitch. I think you could go into a little more detail. I think you could go into more detail was to why this idea is special. For your first pitch though, I thought this was excellent. Great job! This idea is awesome.

  5. Hey Garritt,
I really love your passion for this subject it is such a great idea. I think that with this blog entry you really covered a lot and did the right things. I found it super interesting the subject is something that I would love to do future research on. After reading your article it hooked me and makes me want to get more information about it. Combining the subject together is a great way to widen your audience and make the most use out of it.

  6. Garrett,
What an interesting idea! Overall, your presentation was delivered with great coherence and articulation. You clearly explained the issues behind ramps that are in place today, and provided a clear explanation as to how your product would solve these issues. Some constructive criticism -- try sounding more enthusiastic! As a potential consumer, your lack of excitement and passion turned me away from the product. I'm not saying you don't have any -- I simply didn't feel it. Also, try going into more detail about how your product is better (what metals will you use, how can you ensure long-lasting durability, etc...). Otherwise, well done!

  7. Garrett,
Good job especially this being your first with no feedback. I would only say to improve the punctuation of your words and speak in a more fluctuated tone. I know its hard as a deep speaker but when giving a pitch the number one thing is being able to be understood. I'm also talking to myself as I write this but overall really great work.

  8. Garrett,
What a great idea! Your product is definitely an interesting one and one with great market potential. However, the first step of entrepreneurship is finding a product worth being sold, but the most important is getting it out to the world. The elevator pitch begins your marketing and your success, so to be successful try a bit more enthusiasm in your mannerism to keep potential customers enticed!

  9. Loved your pitch! It was very concise and factual but I didn't find my mind wandering. I think you have an amazing business opportunity in front of you! Not only because it could be a very successful business venture but I know it could help a lot of elderly people as well! Bravo and truly hope your business is successful if you decide to pursue it.

  10. Hey Garrett!

I think you held yourself really well in your elevator pitch. I liked hearing about your anecdotes to support your product. You swiftly moved into facts shortly after. You spoke very clearly and I would want to help you in your journey. Great job! I hope that everything works for you.
